TESTIMONIALS

What I love about ArcStudio is… it’s not just like a review center, it’s a family. I’m thankful to be part of TEAM KAMAO.
In here we got Arch. Runddy's passion to teach and  his compassion for his students, which is pretty much everything you need to pass the board exam!

5.  Don’t study anymore, enjoy the last day!!!

One  night before the exam
1.  Sleep!!.. but you can’t !
2.  Try to relax your mind..
3.  Don’t think of the day ahead or the exam.
4.  Listen to your favorite music

Prepare during one night before the exam
1.  Prepare your things-pencil, calculator, scale,
          rule 7/8 etc.. etc…

2.  Wear the clothes that’s very comfortable.
3.  Bring water
4.  Don’t forget your PRC stub!

During  the board exam
1.  Don’t be late
2.  The  watchers will make you fill up some forms, don’t get nervous
3.  After you fill-up relax yourself and pray, ask guidance from HIM.
4.  Read the instructions again and again. Ask questions if necessary.. Receive the questioner and the answer sheets, check if it is complete, always be aware of the time, check how many question are there.

10 Tips for Exam Management by Mark Obra
TIP 1: BRUSH UP ON YOUR READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS
·       Your ability to understand whatever you read is no doubt the most important aspect in the board exams (and, more importantly, in your career).
·       Every word that appears in the question that you read serves as clues to the right answer.  During the exam, you will encounter questions wherein you will not be able to recall the word-by-word definition as taken from the book or reviewer.  (I am sure it will happen), you would then have to rely on analyzing the meaning of the question being asked based on the words that you see.

TIP 2: BE MENTALLY AND PHSYCOLOGICALLY PREPARE
·       Never underestimate your body’s limitation, it is important to be physically prepared during the exam itself.
·       Sleep well during the night before the board exam
·       During the examination, you should be ready for long hours of thinking and answering.
·       Be prepared for uncomfortable seats (like chairs with no backrests)
·       Doing a little stretching or closing your eyes for a few minutes might also help.
·       Do not let pressure and nervousness control you.  The board exam is like a war and you will be going into battle.
·       You have to release that warrior instinct in you and own the examination.  More people with positive mental attitudes succeed in life than people who are pessimistic.

TIP 3: EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
·       Do not expect that everything you have read and studied will come out in the exam.
·       Possibly 35% to 50% of what you have studied will  appear in the actual exams.
·       Do not get demoralized if you find out that only a few of the questions in the exam were studied. Now you have to start reading comprehension and elimination techniques.
·       Don’t worry all of you is feeling the same!

TIP 4: DON’T STAY LONG ON THE QUESTIONS THAT YOU DON’T KNOW
·       Prioritize to answer the questions that you know.
·       Come with the unsure questions once you have already answered the correct ones

TIP 5: WHAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN IS WRITTEN
·       Erasures are prohibited.  Once you have shaded an answer, you cannot change it and pick another one.
·       This means that when your answer sheet is processed by the machine, it will detect two answers and will automatically mark that item wrong.

TIP 6: DON’T HURRY-MAKE  MOST OUT OF YOUR TIME
·       Regardless of questions difficulty, you have lots of time in answering each question.
·       We strongly recommend that you answer the easier questions first.  If you do not know the answer or you are having difficulties deciding which among the choices to pick, just skip it immediately and proceed to the next item.
·       You will be going back to it later after you have read all the others.  This is a very good strategy because sometimes there are questions or choices similar to the one you are having trouble.

TIP 7: USE THE ART OF ELLIMNATION
·       Use  the art of elimination to increase this probability especially for questions you do not know. By eliminating the two obvious wrong choices you have only two choices and have the potential to get the right answer.

TIP 8: READ QUESTIONS VERY VERY VERY CAREFULLY
·       Read the question twice, thrice or even four times before you answer.  Do not be a high-speed answerer by just reading the first few lines of the question and assuming that you already know what is being asked.
·       You might miss important words that give hints to the right choice.  You also have to look out for “Stinger Words” like the words IDEAL, NOT, MINIMUM, MAXIMUM and EXCEPT.

TIP #9: CATEGORIZE YOUR ANSWER BEFORE SHADING THE ANSWER SHEET

·       Categorize your answers to and find out how your fare:
·       Absolutely sure
·       90% Sure
·       50-50
·       No idea

TIP #10: QUESTIONARE FIRST, ANSWERS SHEET LATER
Shade your answer neatly on the answer sheet. Don’t erase cause theres a potential that the machine will jump when erasure is detected.

OUR HISTORY

The founder is proud to recall how he painstakingly set-up the architecture review studio despite there were only seven (7) students on its first batch last July 2011. With courage, leadership and passion in teaching,  he willingly continued the classes even if its not logistically viable.  With this gesture of helping the students, it ended with very good results. All the first seven (7) students passed the exam with flying colors, garnering the 1st Place, 7th Place, 8th Place and 12th Place.  The result made big impact that made ArcStudio  famous in Visayas and Mindanao. From seven (7) students, the second batch dramatically increased to fifty (50) students successfully garnering the 5th Place with Eighty two (82%) total passing percentage.

Today, with its higher passing percentage, the studio was able to position itself to be the most innovative  and best evolutionary architecture review center in the country. With its vision to provide an architecture review studio of its kind outside Metro Manila, more studios were opened in Davao, Singapore, Legazpi, Tacloban, Pampanga and Baguio having more than 300 architecture students all over the Philippines.

Vision
To be the most effective and innovative review studio for architecture and other technical professions.

Mission
ArcStudio is committed to serve future architects and other technical professionals realize their dreams through the following:
·           Providing innovative and effective exam preparations to students
